Why can’t I upload videos on a Shopify trial store?

When you upload videos to Moast, we store those videos in your Shopify Files.

Because of this, Shopify must allow video uploads on the store for Moast uploads to work properly.

Shopify trial stores do not allow video uploads, so videos won’t upload into Moast while your store is still on a trial.

What can I do while on a trial?

You still have a few options to test Moast:

• Test the app using images instead of videos

• Use a development or staging store if you have one

If you use a separate development or staging store, you can install Moast there and upload videos normally while testing.

Once your main store is live and on a paid Shopify plan, we can help migrate your content over.

In the Moast app, trial stores may also see a banner that says Your store doesn't support video uploads. From that banner you can:

• Click Select a Shopify plan to open Shopify plan settings
