Show the right videos on your product pages

Smart auto-match is the easiest way to make sure every product page shows only the videos that feature that exact product. When you tag a video with a product, Moast automatically sends it to the right page without any extra work.
What you need first
Smart auto-match only works when your videos are tagged with products. If you have not tagged your videos yet, start with tagging products in your videos before setting up the widget.
Set up your product page widget
Open the Widgets tab in your Moast dashboard and click New widget.
Pick a widget style, like Carousel, Stories, or Grid.
Choose where the widget goes. Select Product page so it appears on your product pages.
Choose how videos are picked for each page. Select Smart auto-match so that each product page automatically shows the videos tagged with that product.
Name your widget and click Create.
Click Add to theme when you are ready. Moast will place the widget on your product page template automatically.
How Smart auto-match works
Once your widget is live, shoppers will see videos that match the product they are viewing.
A shopper visits your Blue Sneakers page.
Moast looks at which videos are tagged with Blue Sneakers.
Those videos show up in the widget on that page.
When a shopper visits a different product page, they see the videos tagged with that different product instead.
You do not need to assign videos to each page manually. As long as the tags are correct, the matching happens automatically.
The product picker in the widget editor is just a preview
When you open a Smart auto-match widget in the editor, you will see a product picker on the left side labeled Preview widget for product:. This picker is only for previewing, it lets you see what the widget looks like on a specific product page. It does not tag products to videos, and it does not change which videos appear on which pages.
You can only pick one product at a time, and clicking it again swaps to a different product so you can check the preview. There is nothing to save or assign here. The matching is handled automatically based on the product tags on your videos.
If you need to tag a video with a product, do that in your media library, not in the widget editor. The editor's product picker only changes what you are previewing.
When to use custom product feeds instead
Smart auto-match is the fastest way to get relevant videos on every product page, but sometimes you want to hand-pick exactly what shows up on a specific page. When you create a widget, choose Custom product feeds as the product source to manually select which videos appear on each product page.
You might want custom product feeds if you:
Want to control the exact order of videos on a product page
Want to mix brand videos with product-specific videos
Prefer to choose videos manually instead of relying on tags

Why some videos might not appear
If you tagged your videos but they are not showing on the product page, check these quick fixes:
Double-check that the videos are tagged with the correct product.
Make sure your widget is set to Smart auto-match and placed on product pages.

Smart auto-match and custom product feeds both work on product pages, but they do not do the same thing. Smart auto-match runs automatically from your tags, while custom product feeds give you a manual list for each product. You can use either one, or even combine them depending on how much control you want.
